OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated November 27, 2013, and pursuant to clause 16(1)(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act is pleased to: (

a) give approval to the Minister of Natural Resources to issue a lease for a parcel of Crown land containing 84 hectares (208 acres), located at Stellarton, Pictou County, identified as PIDs 00925859 and 00925842 and shown outlined in bold on the plan marked

Schedule “A”, which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation, to Pioneer Coal Limited, a body corporate having its registered office at Antigonish, Antigonish County, its successors, trustees, and permitted assigns, for the purpose of coal surface mining and for the placement of infrastructure necessary to develop and operate a surface coal mine, and for no other purpose, on terms and conditions to be determined by the Minister; and (

b) execute such documents as to achieve the purposes of this Order.
