Order in Council 801/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Minister of Energy and Mines (“Minister”) is committed to ensuring that Ontario has the affordable energy it needs to power its homes and industries, today and in the decades ahead;

And

whereas pursuant to subsection 25.29 (1) of the Electricity Act, 1998 , the Minister may, with the approval of the Lieutenant Governor in Council, issue an integrated energy plan setting out and balancing the Government of Ontario’s goals and objectives respecting energy for the period specified by the plan.

Now therefore the integrated energy plan, entitled Energy for Generations: Ontario’s Integrated Plan to Power the Strongest Economy in the G7 , attached hereto is approved.
