OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Labour dated May 30, 2001, pursuant to subsections 68(1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (7), (10) and (11) of
Chapter 7 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1996, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint the following persons as Employer Representatives to the list of persons from which an appeal panel may be designated, each for a term of three (3) years commencing August 2, 2001: Roy MacDonald of Sydney Mines, Cape Breton Regional Municipality; and J. Douglas Smith of Kings Head, R.R.#1 New Glasgow, Pictou County; (
b) fix the remuneration of Roy MacDonald and J. Douglas Smith at one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for each day of attendance to the business of an appeal panel at the instruction of the chair of the appeal panel office, in addition to reasonable expenses incurred by them in the course of carrying out duties for an appeal panel.
