OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Department of Energy and the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation (Nova Scotia) Act dated January 9, 2003, pursuant to

Section 44 of

Chapter 3 of the Acts of Nova Scotia, 1987, the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation (Nova Scotia) Act, and

Section 5 of

Chapter 372 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Inquiries Act, is pleased to confer on Phillip Saunders of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, a Commissioner appointed by the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board to conduct a public review of the Deep Panuke Offshore Gas Development Project, all of the powers, privileges and immunities conferred on persons appointed as commissioners pursuant to the Public Inquiries Act.
