1 These regulations may be cited as the Interim Residential Rental Increase Cap

Regulations .

Definition

2 In these regulations, “Act” means the Interim Residential Rental Increase Cap Act.

Maximum permitted rent increase for 2024

3 The maximum permitted rent increase amount under clause 4(1)(

b) of the Act for rent

increases from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024, inclusive, is 5%.

Maximum permitted rent increase for 2025

4 The maximum permitted rent increase amount under clause 4(1)(

c) of the Act for rent

increases from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, inclusive, is 5%.
