Order in Council 1451/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas pursuant to Order in Council O.C. 1953/2019 dated December 12, 2019, Gail Beggs is currently serving as a member of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (the “Corporation”) at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council;

And

whereas pursuant to Order in Council O.C. 564/2021 dated April 29, 2021, Gail Beggs is currently serving as the Vice-Chair of the Corporation at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council;

Pursuant to subsection 5(2) of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation Act, 1999 ,

Gail Beggs of Toronto

be redesignated as the Vice-Chair of the Corporation to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council, for a period commencing November 1, 2021 and ending no later than December 11, 2022, effective the date this Order in Council is made;

And further , the Vice-Chair of the Corporation may exercise the powers and duties of the Chair of the Corporation where the Chair is absent or unable to act for any reason, or where the office of the Chair may be vacant;

And further , that Order in Council O.C. 1275/2021 dated September 16, 2021 be revoked effective the date this Order in Council is made.
