INNOVATION EXPECTED RESULTS FOR THE 2023/2024

FISCAL YEAR REGULATION

Application of this regulation

1 This regulation applies to the Minister of State for Sustainable Forestry Innovation for the 2023/2024 fiscal year.

Definition

2 In this regulation, "Act" means the Balanced Budget and Ministerial Accountability Act .

Minister of State for Sustainable Forestry Innovation

3 The expected results that the Minister of State for Sustainable Forestry Innovation is to achieve for the purposes of

section 5 (3) of the Act are as follows:

(

a) meet with relevant officials within government, with forest industry representatives, with First Nations and with other stakeholders in order to develop an understanding of opportunities and risks respecting the stabilization and growth of fibre supply;

(

b) submit to Cabinet a report on the results referred to in paragraph (

a) on or before March 31, 2024.
