I, Frances Sasvari, acting Superintendent of Motor Vehicles, order that, effective

September 1, 2022, the Lien on Impounded Motor Vehicles Regulation, B.C. Reg. 25/2015,

is amended as set out in the attached Appendix.

Appendix

1 The Lien on Impounded Motor Vehicles Regulation, B.C. Reg. 25/2015, is amended

by repealing

section 3 (a) (

i) to (iv) and substituting the following:

(i) $23.98 per day for impound lots in Zone 1,

(ii) $22.89 per day for impound lots in Zone 2,

(iii) $20.71 per day for impound lots in Zone 3, and

(iv) $16.35 per day for impound lots in Zone 4; .

Section 4 is amended

(

a) in subsection (1) (

b) by striking out " a fuel surcharge equal to 18% " and substituting " a fuel surcharge equal to 26% ",

(

b) by repealing subsection (1) (

c) and substituting the following:

(c) $35 if dollies are used. ,

(

c) in subsection (3) by striking out " in accordance with subsection (1) (

c) or " and by striking out " items 2 to 4 " and substituting " item 2 ", and

(

d) by repealing the table and substituting the following:
