OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated January 7, 2020, pursuant to clause 10(1)(

f) of

Chapter 7 of the Acts of 2005, the Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission Act , as amended, and pursuant to

Section 74 of

Chapter 2 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 2010, the Finance Act , is pleased to authorize the Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission to borrow money from the Province, as represented by the Minister of Finance and Treasury Board, and authorize the Minister of Finance and Treasury Board to lend money to the Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission, from time to time, to a maximum of $60,000,000 in Canadian Funds, on such terms and conditions as determined by the Minister of Finance and Treasury Board and pursuant to a new Line of Credit (“LOC”) Agreement, so as to enable the Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission to meet its occasional short-term cash requirements.

The above order rescinds and replaces OIC 2008-275.
