a) by adding after paragraph (1)(

a) the following:

a) par l’adjonction de ce qui suit après l’ali ‐ néa (1)a) : (a.1) provides a fire safety plan and a site layout for the salvage yard that are in compliance with the Fire Prevention Act in the opinion of the fire marshal ap ‐ pointed under that Act, a.1) lui fournit, pour le dépôt d’objets de récupéra ‐ tion, un plan de sécurité-incendie et un plan d’aména ‐ gement qui, de l’avis du prévôt des incendies nommé en vertu de la

b) by adding after subsection (1) the following:

a) in subsection (3) by striking out “6,”;

b) by adding after subsection (3) the following:

d) by adding after subsection (4) the following:

a) the minimum fine that may be imposed is double the minimum fine set by the Provincial Offences Pro‐ cedure Act for a category H offence multiplied by the number of days during which the offence continues, and

Section of the Act is amended by adding after subsection (3) the following: 3 L’article de la Loi est modifié par l’adjonction de ce qui suit après le paragraphe (3) : 18(4) Despite subsection (1), the Minister may sus ‐ pend a licence temporarily without extending to the li ‐ censee an opportunity to be heard and to be represented by counsel if an investigation under subsection (3) is on‐ going and the Minister is satisfied on reasonable grounds that there is a danger to the public and the potential for loss of life. 18(4) Par dérogation au paragraphe (1), le ministre peut suspendre une licence temporairement sans donner au titulaire l’occasion de se faire entendre et d’être repré‐ senté par un avocat si une enquête visée au paragra ‐ phe (3) est en cours et s’il est convaincu qu’il existe des motifs raisonnables de croire que les activités du titulaire représentent un danger pour le public et un risque de perte de vie. 4 A salvage dealer with a licence that is valid and in force on the commencement of this

section shall com ‐ ply, on or before September 30, 2024, with paragraph 2(1)(a.1) of the Salvage Dealers Licensing Act, as enacted by paragraph 1(

a) of this Amending Act. 4 Un brocanteur titulaire d’une licence valide et pro ‐ duisant ses effets à l’entrée en vigueur du présent arti ‐ cle est tenu, au plus tard le septembre 2024, de se conformer à l’alinéa 2(1)a.1) de la
