OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and Marketing dated July 21, 1998, pursuant to clauses 7(a), 8(

a) and (

b) of

Chapter 7 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Agriculture and Rural Credit Act, and subsections 10(1), (2) and

Section 13 of the Nova Scotia Farm Loan Board Regulations made under

Section 8 of

Chapter 7 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Agriculture and Rural Credit Act, made by Order in Council 92-1162, dated December 1, 1992 and amended by Order in Council 97-254, dated April 22, 1997, is pleased to: (

a) approve the granting of an additional loan to Spectacle Lake Pork Farm Limited of R.R.#1 Church Point, Digby County, in the amount of $900,000.00 to finance the construction of a 135' x 200' feeder barn, install heating and composting equipment and to renovate an existing feeder barn; (

b) determine the rate of interest to be charged on the additional loan to be 7.75 per cent.
