B.C. Reg. 78/2025 , deposited June 9, 2025, under the VANCOUVER CHARTER AMENDMENT ACT (No. 2), 2024 [section 30] and VANCOUVER CHARTER [sections 562 and 562.02]. Order in Council 278/2025, approved and ordered June 9, 2025.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(

a) sections 1, 3, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 23, 24 and 29 of the Vancouver Charter Amendment Act (No. 2), 2024 , S.B.C. 2024, c. 12, are brought into force,

(

b) section 13 of the Vancouver Charter Amendment Act (No. 2), 2024 , as it enacts sections 562.02, 562.04, 562.06, 562.07 and 562.08 of the Vancouver Charter , S.B.C. 1953, c. 55, is brought into force, and

(

c) the attached Interim Official Development Plans Regulation is made.

Prescribed current official development plan

1 For the purposes of

section 562 (1) (m) [council powers respecting official development plan] of the Vancouver Charter , the ʔəy̓alməxʷ/Iy̓álmexw/Jericho Lands Official Development Plan, 2025 is prescribed.

2 For the purposes of paragraph (

m) of the definition of "current official development plan" in

section 562.02 (1) [by‑law to adopt interim official development plan] of the Vancouver Charter , the ʔəy̓alməxʷ/Iy̓álmexw/Jericho Lands Official Development Plan, 2025 is prescribed.
