Statute: Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act dated January 23, 2015, and pursuant to

Section 3 of

Chapter 3 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act , is pleased to: (

a) appoint Annie Saint-Jacques of Economy, Colchester County, Kimberly A. MacDonald of Antigonish, Antigonish County, Chelcie Soroka of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) and Maura Ryan of Wolfville, Kings County, as members of the Advisory Council on the Status of Women for a term of office of 3 years commencing March 3, 2015; (

b) re-appoint Dr. Felicia R. Eghan of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a member of the Advisory Council on the Status of Women for a term of office of 3 years commencing March 3, 2015; and (

c) order that Annie Saint-Jacques, Kimberly A. MacDonald, Chelcie Soroka, Maura Ryan and Dr. Felicia R. Eghan be remunerated for their services in the amount of $100.00 per day for Council meetings and be reimbursed for such actual and reasonable travelling and other expenses as may reasonably be incurred by them in the performance of their duties, payable in accordance with the travel policies and guidelines of the Province of Nova Scotia.
