CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Department of Labour Act. [Assented to May 4, 1979.] H ER Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows: 1. This Act may be cited as The Department of Labour Amend- ment Act, 19 79. 2. The following

section is added after

section of The Depart ment of Labour Act. "4.1-

(1) Subject to the approval of the minister, the depart ment may make grants to any person, agency, organization, associ ation or institution for the purpose of carrying out or promoting any of the functions of the department, but no grant made under this subsection shall exceed $10,000. "

(2) Subject to the approval of the Lieutenant Governor in Council, the minister may make grants in amounts in excess of $10,000, to any person, agency, organization, association or institu tion, for the purpose of carrying out or promoting any of the func tions of the department".
