OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage dated April 29, 2024, and pursuant to
Section 4 of
Chapter 199 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Heritage Property Act, is pleased to: (
a) reappoint Aleen Stanton of Merigomish, Pictou County, as a member of the Advisory Council on Heritage Property for a term of three (3) years commencing August 8, 2024; (
b) reappoint Gregory MacNeil of Pleasantville, Lunenburg County, as a member of the Advisory Council on Heritage Property for a term of three (3) years commencing August 8, 2024; (
c) appoint Bronwyn Appleby of Summerville, Hants County, as a member of the Advisory Council on Heritage Property for a term of three (3) years commencing August 8, 2024; (
d) appoint R. Bruce Dodge of Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth) as a member of the Advisory Council on Heritage Property for a term of three (3) years commencing August 8, 2024; (
e) appoint Robert Graves of Aylesford, Kings County, as a member of the Advisory Council on Heritage Property for a term of three (3) years commencing August 8, 2024; (
f) appoint Ron Cahoon of Stewiacke, Colchester County, as a member of the Advisory Council on Heritage Property for a term of three (3) years commencing August 8, 2024; and (
g) order that Aleen Stanton, Gregory MacNeil, Bronwyn Appleby, R. Bruce Dodge, Robert Graves, and Ron Cahoon each be remunerated at the rate of $75 for each meeting of the Advisory Council on Heritage Property and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling their duties as members, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally payable to members of the civil service.
