OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture dated January 27, 2022, and pursuant to Sections 25, 26, and 27 of

Chapter 25 of the Acts of 1996, the Fisheries and Coastal Resources Act , is pleased to: (

a) appoint Robert Verge of Halifax Regional Municipality (Bedford) as a member and designate him as Vice-chair of the Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board for a three (3) year term commencing June 30, 2022; (

b) appoint Matthew Tapper of Halifax Regional Municipality (Porters Lake) as a member of the Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board for a three (3) year term commencing June 30, 2022; (

c) appoint Fanel Vasile of Halifax Regional Municipality (Hammonds Plains) as a member of the Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board for a three (3) year term commencing June 30, 2022; (

d) reappoint Donna Upham of Halifax Regional Municipality (Lake Echo) as a member of the Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board for a three (3) year term commencing June 30, 2022; and (

e) determine that Matthew Tapper, Fanel Vasile, and Donna Upham each be remunerated for their service as members, and Robert Verge be remunerated for his service as Vice-chair, in the amount of $100 per day, and that they each be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling their duties provided that any such reimbursement does not exceed that normally payable to members of the civil service.
