OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated October 12, 2006, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, is pleased, effective October 25, 2006, to: (

a) assign to the Member of the Executive Council holding the office of Minister of Finance all affairs and matters relating to financial institutions which have heretofore been assigned to the Department of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations by virtue of Order in Council 2006-112 dated February 24, 2006, or otherwise; and (

b) direct, that for administrative purposes, all affairs and matters relating to financial institutions are assigned to the Department of Finance.
