CHAPTER

An Act respecting The Federal Court of Canada (Assented to March 30, 1972)

Short title This Act may be cited as The Federal Courts Act, 1972. 1972, c.45, s.1. Jurisdiction of court The Federal Court of Canada has jurisdiction, in accordance with the Federal Court Act (Canada), in cases of: (

a) controversies between Canada and Saskatchewan; (

b) controversies between any other province or territory of Canada, that may have passed

an Act or ordinance similar to this Act, and Saskatchewan. 1972, c.45, s.2. Rev. Stat. c.78 repealed The Federal Courts Act is repealed. 1972, c.45, s.3. Coming into force This Act comes into force on the day of assent but is retroactive and shall be deemed to have been in force on and from the first day of June, 1971. 1972, c.45, s.4.
