EXPLANATORY NOTES

Clauses 1 and 2 of this Bill would

repeal the Bulk Sales Act. The Act is no longer necessary as the Act

is antiquated and there are many alternate protections contained in other provincial

legislation.

Clauses 3 to 7 of the Bill are

consequential amendments which would be necessitated by the repeal of the Bulk Sales Act.

House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows:
