WHEREAS it appears by Messages from The Honour able Chief Justice S. Bruce Smith, Adm;inistrator of the Province of Alberta, and the Estimates aecompanying the Messages, that the sums hereinafter mentioned are required to defray 'certain expenses of the Publie Service of Alberta not otherwise provided for during the financial periods ending respectively, :fi,lar~h 31, 1973 and March 31, 1974, and for other purposes relating thereto: MAY IT THEREFORE PLEASE YOUR MAJESTY that it be enacted and

be it enacted by the Queen's Most Ex cellent Nlajesty, by and WIth the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, as follows: 1. From and out of the General Revenue Fund, there may be paid and a;pplied a sum not exceeding, in the whole, $30,889,357.63 tow'ards defraying the several charges and expenses of the Public Service from April 1, 1972 to March 31, 1973, not otherwise provided for and set forth in Sched ule "A" to this Act. 2.

From and out of the General Revenue Fund there may be paid and applied a sum not exceeding, in the whole $1,499,006,173000 towards defraying the several charge~ and expenses of the Public Service from April 1 1973 to March 31, 1974, not otherwise provided for and set forth in Sc:hedule "E" to this Act, less the amounts voted on account for those items in The Ap1Yropriation (Interim Supply) Act, 1973. 3. The due application of all moneys expended under this Act shall be accounted for. 4. This Act comes into force on the day upon which it is assented to.
