OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated August 24, 2005, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to: (

a) purchase from Donald Andrews, Myrtle Andrews, Karl Andrews, Paul Andrews and their respective spouses, their heirs, executors, successors, or assigns, a parcel of land known as Andrews Island, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg County, containing 8 hectares+, shown outlined in red on

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, for the purchase price of $520,000.00, payable in two installments ($260,000 within 30 days of Governor in Council approval and $260,000 on the date of transfer of the land) subject to the conditions that Donald Andrews, Myrtle Andrews, Karl Andrews, Paul Andrews and their respective spouses, their heirs, executors, successors, or assigns, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

b) execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
