OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, dated February 27, 2019, and pursuant to

Section 80 of

Chapter 156 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Expropriation Act , is pleased to: (

a) authorize the disposal of certain lands, one parcel of surplus land, Lot C at or near Lockhartville, County of Kings, more particularly described in

Schedule “A” and shown on

Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of this Report and Recommendation; (

b) authorize the exchange and conveyance of one parcel of surplus land, Lot C containing an area of 4,583.1 square metres, to Glooscap Landing #1 GP Ltd. at or near Lockhartville, Kings County in exchange for three parcels of land SR-1, SR-2 and SR-3, being Sweetgrass Road, shown on

Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of this Report and Recommendation, located at or near Lockhartville, Kings County, containing an area of 16,193.4 square metres, to the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, for the nominal consideration of $1.00; (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines to effect the conveyance of the lands herein above described; and (

d) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purpose of this Order.
