Order in Council 1089/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas pursuant to

section 4 of Ontario Regulation 618/98 made under the Development Corporations Act (the “Regulation), O.C. 1499/2022 dated November 17, 2022 appointed Maud Murray of Brampton as a member of the board of directors of the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation (the “Corporation”);

And

whereas pursuant to the prerogative of His Majesty the King in Right of Ontario to appoint persons to serve his Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities, O.C. 1068/2022 dated June 24, 2022 appointed Maud Murray as Deputy Minister of Red Tape Reduction;

And

whereas subsection 4(1) of the Regulation has been amended such that a deputy minister shall no longer serve as a member of the board of directors of the Corporation;

Now therefore O.C. 1499/2022 is revoked, effective June 9, 2023.
