An Act to amend The Arbitration Act (Assented to May 5, 1972) Rev. Stat. c. 106,

schedule A amended

Schedule A to The Arbitration Act is amended by adding thereto immediately after provision thereof the following provision. “11A Where more than two arbitrators hear and determine a matter the decision of a majority of them shall be valid and binding on all parties and the persons claiming under them respectively; but in the absence of a decision of the majority, if one arbitrator has been designated as chairman the decision of the chairman shall be valid and binding on such parties and persons”. 1972, c.6, s.1.
