OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated October 31, 2013, and pursuant to subsection 7(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to: (

a) acquire Bella Island, located in Mahone Bay at Indian Point, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia, being identified as PID 60335486 and outlined in bold on the map marked

Schedule "A", which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation, from Alan R. Brill, his respective executors, heirs, trustees, administrators and approved successors and assigns for a contribution of $550,000.00 towards the purchase price of $800,000.00 plus any legal, appraisal or survey costs incurred by the Minister in respect of the purchase, subject to the Mahone Islands Conservation Association contributing the remainder of the balance of the purchase price being $250,000.00 and subject to the condition that Alan R.

Brill, his respective executors, heirs, trustees, administrators and approved successors and assigns, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

b) execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
