Order in Council 1170/2022

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 1937/2019, dated December 12, 2019, Dr Fiona Smaill was reappointed as a part-time member of the Death Investigation Oversight Council (the "Council”) and designated as part-time Vice-Chair of the Council;

And

whereas Dr Fiona Smaill has, in writing, effective July 1, 2022, resigned her appointment as a part-time member of the Council and designation as part-time Vice- Chair of the Council;

Therefore pursuant to sub-sections 8(2) and 8(3) of the Coroners Act , as amended, Order in Council numbered O.C. 1937/2019, dated December 12, 2019, reappointing Dr Fiona Smaill as a part-time member of the Council, and designating her as part-time Vice Chair of the Council is hereby revoked effective the later of July 1, 2022 or the date this Order in Council is made.
