OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of the Public Service Commission and the Minister of Finance dated August 1, 2013, and pursuant to Sections 32 and 33 of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act is pleased to: (

a) effective April 1, 2012, revoke approval of the Liability Management and Treasury Services Pay Plan approved by Order-in-Council 2011-349 dated September 27, 2011; (

b) approve the Liability Management and Treasury Services Pay Plan, containing recommended rates of compensation, in the form set out in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation from April 1, 2012 to March 31, 2013; (

c) approve the Liability Management and Treasury Services Pay Plan containing recommended rates of compensation, in the form set out in

Schedule "B" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation effective on and from April 1, 2013; and (

d) approve lump sum merit payments to employees whose salary is frozen through transition to the updated LM pay plan effective April 1, 2012, which merit payments can be provided once per year as long as the employee's salary is frozen and are subject to policies and practices established by the Public Service Commission.
