WILDLIFE (2018 HUNTING SEASON - MINISTERIAL)
AMENDMENT REGULATION

(M.O. 27/2018) on July 23, 2018 pursuant to
section 103 of the Wildlife Act.
1 The Wildlife Regulation (AR 143/97) is amended by this
Regulation.
2 The following is added after
section 26:
Senior licences - eligibility
26.1 Only a senior, being a resident who, at the time the
aftermentioned licence was applied for, was 65 years of age or older,
is eligible to obtain or hold a licence whose name includes the term
"senior".
Section 30(11) and (11.1) are repealed.
4(1)
Section 31(2) is amended by striking out ", but this
subsection does not apply as respects a non-resident 3-day game bird
licence or a non-resident alien 6-day waterfowl licence".
(2) Section 31(3)(
d) is amended by striking out "and" at the
end of subclause (ii), adding "and" at the end of subclause
(iii) and adding the following after subclause (iii):
(iv) a senior white-tailed deer licence,
Section 94 is amended by adding "and the limits and
requirements referred to in
section 117" after "seasons".
Section 117 is amended by striking out "Part 1 of
Schedule
13" and substituting "Table 6 of
Schedule 15".
Section 130(4.2) is amended by striking out "254 to 258,"
and substituting "250 to 260,".
Section 136(1)(
c) is amended by striking out "2, of
Part 2 of
Schedule 13" and substituting " 3, of Table 6 of
Schedule 15".
Section 1(1)(
g) of the portion of the Schedules entitled
"Interpretation of Schedules", preceding
Schedule 1, is
repealed.

(3) The open season for the hunting by means of
falconry birds of upland game birds, other than
Merriam's turkey, in all WMUs less than 600 and in
WMU 936, is from August 15 to March 31.
(4) The open seasons for the hunting by means of
falconry birds of migratory game birds are the same as
the seasons established in Table 6.
(ii) in subsection (7) by striking out "within any of
game bird zones 1 to 8" and "within that game bird
zone";

1 The Bee Regulation (AR 194/2003) is amended by this
Regulation.
Section 2(
a) is amended by striking out "American
foulbrood (Bacillus larvae)" and substituting "American foulbrood
(Paenibacillus larvae)".
Section 8 is amended by striking out "November 1, 2018"
and substituting "November 30, 2022".
