Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated December 15, 2009, and pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, is pleased to: (

a) authorize the disposal of certain lands containing 3.013 acres, more or less, situate at or near Halifax, County of Halifax and more particularly described in

Schedule "A" as shown crosshatched in red on

Schedule "B" which Schedules are attached to and form part of the Report and Recommendation; (

b) authorize the conveyance of the land to Halifax Regional Municipality, a municipal body corporate, with head office located in Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, in exchange for lands of equal value and the sale price of $1,900,000.00 as detailed in

Schedule "C" which

schedule is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines to effect the conveyance of the lands hereinabove described.
