Statute: Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated March 26, 2010, and pursuant to

Section 65 of

Chapter 42 of the Acts of 2005, the Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act, is pleased to: (

a) re-appoint pursuant to clause 65(2)(a), the following persons as psychiatrist members of the Review Board for terms commencing April 1, 2010 and expiring March 31, 2012: Dr. Alistair Munro of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; and Dr. Sonia Chehil of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; and (

b) appoint pursuant to clause 65(2)(b), the following persons as lawyer members of the Review Board for terms commencing April 1, 2010 and expiring March 31, 2012: John Boddie of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; and David Baker of Kentville, Kings County; and (

c) appoint pursuant to clause 65(2)(c), the following persons as lay members of the Review Board for terms commencing April 1, 2010 and expiring on March 31, 2012: Larry Clement of Head of St. Margaret's Bay, Halifax Regional Municipality; Margaret Smith of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; Shanta Dhir of Truro, Colchester County; David W. T .Brattston of Lunenburg, Lunenburg County; Brooke Gray of Liverpool, Queens County; and Elaine Surette of Ste Anne du Ruisseau, Yarmouth County.
