OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Labour dated May 24, 2001, pursuant to subsections 161(1), (2) and (3) of

Chapter 10 of the Acts of Nova Scotia, 1994-95, the Workers' Compensation Act, as amended, is pleased to: (

a) revoke, effective May 31, 2001, the appointments of Barbara Lewis and Joe O'Brien as members of the Workers' Compensation Review Committee; (

b) effective May 31, 2001, appoint the following persons as members of the Workers' Compensation Review Committee: Gary J. Penny of North Sydney, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, as a worker representative; and Stephen Rankin of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as an employer representative; and (

c) fix the remuneration of Gary J. Penny and Stephen Rankin at One Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($150.00) per day served at the call of the Chair of the Workers' Compensation Review Committee and reimburse them for reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out their duties.
