OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated November 12, 2014, and pursuant to

Section 672.38 and 672.4 of

Chapter C-46 of the Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985, the Criminal Code , is pleased, effective November 28, 2014, to: (

a) reappoint Peter Lederman of Truro, Colchester County, as a member and Chair of the Nova Scotia Criminal Code Review Board for a term of one year; (

b) determine the remuneration of Peter Lederman be at the rate of $150.00 per hour to a maximum of 55 hours per month, together with reasonable expenses; and (

c) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Peter Lederman and indemnify him from personal liability provided the Province is satisfied the claim arises out of his activities in relation to his appointment and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends him, the Province will be in control of the case.
