OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated March 7, 2000, pursuant to
Section 6 of
Chapter 430 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Small Claims Court Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint the following persons as Adjudicators of the Small Claims Court of Nova Scotia each for a term of office of one year commencing February 14, 2000, and ending February 13, 2001: Lynn Connors of Kentville, Kings County; and James Armour of Ellershouse, Hants County; (
b) determine the remuneration for Adjudicators of the Small Claims Court of Nova Scotia to be at the rate of one hundred dollars ($100) for the first hour of each sitting of the court and seventy-five dollars ($75) per hour or part thereof for each hour thereafter and seventy-five dollars ($75) for a stated case and authorize payment of travel and accommodation expenses at rates payable to public servants.
