OIC Text: The Governor and Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, dated July 12, 2011, and pursuant to Sections 5, 8, and 9 of
Chapter 4 of the Acts of 1995, the Highway 104 Western Alignment Act, and
Section 18 of
Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the
Interpretation Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint Lee Rankin of Bridgewater, Lunenburg County as a Director of the Highway 104 Western Alignment Corporation for a term of five years commencing October 1, 2011 and ending September, 30, 2016; (
b) determine that Lee Rankin is bound by the principles and purposes of both Values, Ethics and Conduct: A Code for Nova Scotia's Public Servants and
Chapter 35 of the Acts of 2010, the Conflict of Interest Act; and (
c) order that Lee Rankin be remunerated in the amount of $20,000 per year for each year of his term as director of the corporation.
