OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Finance dated June 24, 2004, and pursuant to clause 2(

n) of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, is pleased to: (

i) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Public Works to enter into the Amendment to the Local Voice Services Master Agreement substantially in the form set forth in

Schedule "A" (the "Amendment") attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; (ii) authorize the Minister of Finance to establish a special fund pursuant to clause 2(

n) of the Provincial Finance Act to be called the MASH Sector Telecom Fund and to be used for the purposes and in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Amendment; (iii) authorize the Minister of Finance to deposit into the MASH Sector Telecom Fund such funds as are required from time to time pursuant to the Amendment effective on and after July 9, 2004; and (iv) revoke Order in Council 2004-177 effective July 9, 2004.
