OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Elections Act , and on the advice of the Chief Electoral Officer, dated November 3, 2021, and pursuant to
Section 11 of
Chapter 5 of the Acts of 2011, the Elections Act , and
Section 18 of
Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the
Interpretation Act , is pleased, effective December 14, 2021, to: (
a) appoint Lindsay G. Rodenkirchen as Assistant Chief Electoral Officer for the Province of Nova Scotia as set out in the offer letter from the Public Service Commission; (
b) direct that the salary of Lindsay G. Rodenkirchen as Assistant Chief Electoral Officer be established as the rate of compensation for a level fifteen excluded classification employee (EC 15) as set out in the Excluded Classification Pay Plan approved by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 2019-118 dated April 9, 2019; and (
c) direct that Lindsay G. Rodenkirchen be provided with adjustments to her rate of compensation equal to the rate of compensation for EC 15 employees approved by Governor in Council in the Excluded Classification Pay Plan after April 9, 2019, and that she be subject to all other benefits and compensation applicable to excluded classification civil servants, and subject to all applicable enactments.
