Order in Council 942/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty The Queen in Right of Ontario to appoint persons to serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Deborah Lynn Richardson

be appointed Deputy Minister of the Treasury Board Secretariat, effective July 12, 2021, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding three years from the effective date of this appointment;

Further that pursuant to subsection 2 (6) of the Management Board of Cabinet Act ,

Deborah Lynn Richardson

be appointed Secretary of the Management Board of Cabinet, effective July 12, 2021, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a term concurrent with her appointment as Deputy Minister of the Treasury Board Secretariat;

Further that pursuant to subsection 1.0.4 (2) of the Financial Administration Act ,

be appointed Secretary of the Treasury Board, effective July 12, 2021, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a term concurrent with her appointment as Deputy Minister of the Treasury Board Secretariat;

And that Order in Council O.C. 853/2019, dated June 5, 2019, be revoked effective July 12, 2021.
