B.C. Reg. 233/2003, deposited June 20, 2003, pursuant to the ENERGY AND MINES STATUTES AMENDMENT ACT, 2002 [Section 38] and the PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS ACT [Sections 73 (2), 132 and 133]. Order in Council 608/2003, approved and ordered June 19, 2003.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(

a) sections 21 to 37 of the Energy and Mines Statutes Amendment Act, 2002, S.B.C. 2002, c. 26, are brought into force by this regulation,

(

b) section 3 of the Petroleum and Natural Gas General Regulation, B.C. Reg. 357/98, is repealed, and

(c)

section 1 (1) of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Royalty and Freehold Production Tax Regulation, B.C. Reg. 495/92, is amended in paragraph (

a) of the definition of "coalbed methane project" by striking out "section 100 (b)" and substituting "section 100 (1) (
