B.C. Reg. 164/2018 , deposited July 25, 2018, under the ELECTORAL REFORM REFERENDUM 2018 ACT [section 12]. Order in Council 424/2018, approved and ordered July 25, 2018.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the Electoral Reform Referendum 2018 Regulation, B.C. Reg. 125/2018, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

Section 4 (2) of the Electoral Reform Referendum 2018 Regulation, B.C. Reg. 125/2018, is amended by striking out “ must be read as “under

section 7 of the Act”. ” and substituting “ must be read as “under

section 7 of the Electoral Reform Referendum 2018 Act ”. ”

Section 32 (1) (b) (ii) is amended by striking out “ , such longer period ” and substituting “ , within such longer period ”.

Section 36 (6) is amended by striking out “ must be read as “under this regulation”. ” and substituting “ must be read as “under the Electoral Reform Referendum 2018 Regulation”. ”

Section 51 (1) (

e) is repealed and the following substituted:

e) section 231.01 [identification of sponsor – activities] , except that the phrase “ described in

section 1 (3) (a) ” must be read as “ described in

section 1 (2) (

a) of the Electoral Reform Referendum 2018 Regulation ” and the phrase “ described in

section 1 (3) (b) ” must be read as “ described in

section 1 (2) (

b) of the Electoral Reform Referendum 2018 Regulation ”; .
