Interpretation Act Civil Service Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated December 13, 2013, and pursuant to

Section 3 of

Chapter 327 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Ombudsman Act,

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act and

Section 10 of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, and all authority in him vested, is pleased to, effective December 31, 2013: (

a) appoint Christine Delisle-Brennan as Acting Ombudsman; (

b) designate Christine Delisle-Brennan as a deputy head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act; and (

c) fix and determine the acting pay of Christine Delisle-Brennan to be at the rate of 10% of her existing pay rate.
