B.C. Reg. 67/2018 , deposited April 12, 2018, under the PRIVATE TRAINING ACT [section 63 (2) (

e) and (3) (b)]. Ministerial Order M149/2018, dated April 9, 2018.

I, Melanie Mark, Minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Training, order that the Private Training Regulation, B.C. Reg. 153/2016, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

Section 7 of the Private Training Regulation, B.C. Reg. 153/2016, is amended

(

a) by repealing subsection (1),

(

b) in subsection (3) by striking out “ subsections (5) and (6) ” and substituting “ subsection (6) ”,

(

c) by repealing subsection (3) (

b) and (

d) and substituting the following:

(

b) the institution must have continuously held a certificate under the Act for the last year; ,

(

d) in subsection (3) (

e) by striking out “ past year ” and substituting “ one-year period that ends on the expiry date included in the institution’s current certificate ”,

(

e) in subsection (3) (

f) by striking out “ for the past 3 years ” and substituting “ for the last 3 years ” and by striking out “ in the past 3 years ” and substituting “ in the 3-year period that ends on the expiry date included in the institution’s current certificate ”,

(

f) by repealing subsection (4) and substituting the following:

(4) The requirements prescribed under subsection (3) (b), (

e) and (

f) do not apply to an aboriginal institution. , and

(

g) by repealing subsection (5).
