Order in Council 607/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council 1603/2024, as amended by Order in Council 606/2025, the position of Special Advisor, Agent-General (Bangkok, Thailand) is established for a period not exceeding three years effective the later of May 15, 2025 and the date of the first appointment to this position by the Lieutenant Governor in Council;

Therefore, pursuant to the prerogative of His Majesty the King in Right of Ontario to provide for the appointment and remuneration of advisors to serve His Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Bernard Derible of Vaughan

is hereby appointed as Special Advisor, Agent-General (Bangkok, Thailand) to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding three years effective the later of May 15, 2025 and the date this Order in Council is made.

And further that during such appointment, Bernard Derible shall be paid a base remuneration of $185,000.00 (Canadian) per year.
