B.C. Reg. 337/2012 , deposited November 23, 2012, pursuant to the INSURANCE (CAPTIVE COMPANY) ACT [section 13 (2) (k)]. Order in Council 776/2012, approved and ordered November 22, 2012.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective January 1, 2013, the Insurance (Captive Company) Act Regulation, B.C. Reg. 157/87, is amended by adding the following section:

Signal Captive Insurance Company Limited exemption

6.25

(1) The following part of the definition of "association" in

section 1 of the Act does not apply with respect to the Signal Captive Insurance Company Limited and the application of the Act to that company:

"that has been in continuous existence for at least one year".

(2) This

section is repealed effective January 1, 2014.
