School Act

STUDENT TRANSPORTATION AMENDMENT REGULATION

Filed: November 22, 1995

Made by the Minister of Education (M.O. 062/95) pursuant to

section 34(5)

of the School Act.

1 The Student Transportation Regulation (Alta. Reg. 218/95) is amended by

this Regulation.

Section 5 is amended by adding the following after subsection (3):

(4) Subsections (2) and (3) apply on and from September 1, 1996.

(5) Despite subsection (4), the Minister may waive the application

of subsections (2) and (3) as they existed on August 25, 1995 in respect of

a board during the period from August 25, 1995 to the coming into force of

this subsection.

CHARITABLE FUND-RAISING AMENDMENT REGULATION

Made by the Minister of Municipal Affairs (M.O. H:139/95) pursuant to

section 53 of the Charitable Fund-raising Act and

section 9 of

Schedule 13

of the Government Organization Act.

1 The Charitable Fund-raising Regulation (Alta. Reg. 95/95) is amended by

this Regulation.

Section 9(1) is amended

(

a) in clause (

b) by striking out "$80" and substituting "$60";

(

b) by adding the following after subsection (1):

(1.1) The maximum amount that a registry agent as defined

section 1(1)(

b) of

Schedule 13 of the Government Organization Act may

charge as a service charge in respect of a registration or renewal of

registration of a charitable organization is $20.

and 27 of the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act.

1 The Hog Marketing Regulation (Alta. Reg. 242/87) is amended by this

Regulation.

Section 48(1.1) is repealed.

AMENDMENT REGULATION

Made by the Deputy Minister of Energy (M.O. 40/95) pursuant to

section 1.1

of the Petroleum Royalty Regulation (Alta. Reg. 248/90).

1 The Prescribed Amounts (Petroleum Royalty) Regulation (Alta. Reg.

47/93) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 38 is amended by adding the following after clause (d):

(d.1) the new oil par price is $131.20 per cubic metre;

3 The following is added after

section 38:

39 The following are prescribed for the month of January, 1996:

(

a) the old non-heavy oil par price is $137.43 per

cubic metre;

(

b) the old heavy oil par price is $105.98 per cubic

metre;

(

c) the new non-heavy oil par price is $137.43 per

cubic metre;

(

d) the new heavy oil par price is $105.98 per cubic

metre;

(

e) the third tier non-heavy oil par price is $137.43

per cubic metre;

(

f) the third tier heavy oil par price is $105.98 per

cubic metre;

(

g) the old non-heavy oil royalty factor is 3.122776;

(

h) the old heavy oil royalty factor is 3.125442;

(

i) the new non-heavy oil royalty factor is 3.160168;

(

j) the new heavy oil royalty factor is 2.653788;

(

k) the third tier non-heavy oil royalty factor is

(

(

Municipal Government Act

REGIONAL SERVICES COMMISSIONS TRANSITIONAL REGULATION

Made by the Minister of Municipal Affairs (M.O. L:441/95) pursuant to

section 602.5 of the Municipal Government Act.

Definition

1 In this Regulation, "commission regulation" means a regulation

establishing a regional services commission passed under the Regional

Municipal Services Act before that Act was repealed.

Fees charged to customers

2 Provisions in a commission regulation governing the fees to be charged

by a regional services commission to its customers or any class of

customers cease to have effect when the regional services commission

replaces the provisions with a bylaw passed under

section 602.07 of the

Municipal Government Act.

Repeal

3 This Regulation is repealed on April 1, 1997.
