OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Finance dated January 27, 2000, pursuant to Sections 8 and 12 of

Chapter 4 of the Acts of 1995-96, the Gaming Control Act, is pleased to: (

a) amend Order in Council 97-113 dated February 18, 1997, by striking out "February 15, 2000" in the last line of clause (

b) and substituting "January 26, 2002"; (

b) appoint the following persons as members of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation, each to hold office for a term commencing February 15, 2000, and not to exceed February 15, 2001: William D. Hogg, CA, Deputy Minister of Finance, of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality; and H. Ramsay Duff, Assistant Deputy Minister of Finance, of Hubley, Halifax Regional Municipality; (

c) amend Order in Council 95-146 dated February 23, 1995, by deleting clause (

d) thereof; (

d) appoint C. Sean O'Connor, CA, to be Chair of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation; and (

e) determine the remuneration for the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation to be commensurate with the remuneration of the Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation.
