Order in Council 141/2018

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Minister of Finance is authorized by Order in Council O.C. 1166/2015 dated August 25, 2015 (the “Order”), on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of Ontario, to enter into a loan agreement with a single purpose trust of which the Power Workers’ Union, Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 1000- CLC is the sole beneficiary (the “ PWU Trust”);

And

whereas a proposed assignment of the beneficial interest in the PWU Trust requires the approval of Her Majesty the Queen in right of Ontario;

Pursuant to the Royal Prerogative, the Order is hereby amended by replacing the words “is the sole beneficiary” with “is the primary beneficiary” in the first recital thereof.
