OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated March 31, 2008, and pursuant to
Section 4 of
Chapter 208 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Hospitals Act, is pleased to approve the facility located at Canadian Forces Base Halifax, Hospital (Stadacona) as a hospital pursuant to the Hospitals Act only under the circumstances when it is providing surgical services pursuant to an arrangement between the Capital District Health Authority and Canadian Forces Base Halifax, Hospital (Stadacona) on April 23, 2008 and for such purposes all legislation applicable to the operation of a hospital shall apply including but not necessarily limited to the Hospitals Act and the Health Authorities Act, effective on April 23, 2008.
