OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Energy dated January 22, 2025, and pursuant to Sections 16, 17, and 18 of

Schedule B of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2024, the More Access to Energy Act , is pleased to appoint: (

a) Douglas Reid of Halifax, Nova Scotia as the Chair of the Board of the Independent Energy Systems Operator for a term of three (3) years commencing February 18, 2025; (

b) Robert Patzelt of Halifax, Nova Scotia as a Director of the Board of the Independent Energy Systems Operator for a term of three (3) years commencing February 18, 2025; (

c) Maureen Higgins of Calgary, Alberta as a Director of the Board of the Independent Energy Systems Operator for a term of three (3) years commencing February 18, 2025; (

d) Carmine Marcello of Thornhill, Ontario as a Director of the Board of the Independent Energy Systems Operator for a term of three (3) years commencing February 18, 2025; (

e) Eric Paul of Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia as a Director of the Board of the Independent Energy Systems Operator for a term of three (3) years commencing February 18, 2025; (

f) Peter Doig of Boutilier’s Point, Nova Scotia as a Director of the Board of the Independent Energy Systems Operator for a term of three (3) years commencing February 18, 2025; and (

g) Alison Scott of Halifax, Nova Scotia as a Director of the Board of the Independent Energy Systems Operator for a term of three (3) years commencing February 18, 2025.
