Statute: Provincial Finance Act Public Service Act Homes for Special Care Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated May 25, 2009, and pursuant to

Section 59C of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, subsection 46(1)(

a) of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and subsections l5(1) and (3) of

Chapter 203 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Homes for Special Care Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Health to enter into Agreements with the facilities listed in

Schedule "A" in the form of service and development agreement attached as

Schedule "B" and

Schedule "C", which Schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation, for the development of long term care facilities and the provision of services for a term of twenty-five years.
