FUEL TAX AMENDMENT REGULATION

on February 3, 2021 pursuant to

section 71(1) of the Fuel Tax Act.

1 The Fuel Tax Regulation (AR 62/2007) is amended by this

Regulation.

Section 12 is amended

(

a) in subsection (1) by repealing clause (a);

(

b) by repealing subsection (2).

Section 14 is amended

(

a) in subsection (1)

(

i) in clause (

a) by adding "and" after "Minister,";

(ii) in clause (

b) by striking out "and";

(iii) by repealing clause (c);

(

b) in subsection (4)

(

i) in clause (

a) by adding "and" after "Minister,";

(ii) in clause (

b) by striking out "and";

(iii) by repealing clause (c).

Section 20(2) is amended

(

a) in clause (

a) by adding "and" after "Minister,";

(

b) by repealing clause (b).

Section 21(4) is amended

(

a) in clause (

a) by adding "and" after "Minister,";

(

b) by repealing clause (b).

Section 23(2)(

b) is repealed.

Section 35(1)(

b) is amended by striking out "on a daily

basis".

Section 41(2.1) is amended by adding "or calendar year"

after "calendar quarter".

Tobacco Tax Act

TOBACCO TAX AMENDMENT REGULATION

on February 3, 2021 pursuant to

section 48 of the Tobacco Tax Act.

1 The Tobacco Tax Regulation (AR 273/83) is amended by

this Regulation.

Section 1(2)(

m) is repealed.

Section 1.01 is amended by striking out "a tear tape

licence,".

Section 1.02 is amended by striking out ", marking permit

holder or tear tape producer" and substituting "or marking permit

holder".

Section 6.01(1) is amended by striking out ", marking

permit holder or tear tape producer" wherever it occurs and

substituting "or marking permit holder".

Section 13.2(3) is repealed.

Section 13.3 is amended

(

a) by repealing subsection (3) and substituting the

following:

(3) An application for a refund under this

section

(

a) shall not be made more frequently than once every

calendar week, and

(

b) must be received by the Minister not later than 3 years

from the end of the calendar year in which the tax-

exempt sale occurred.

(

b) by repealing subsection (3.1).

8 Sections 14.9 and 14.91 are repealed.

(AR 165/2005) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 4 is amended by striking out "March 31, 2021" and

substituting "November 30, 2022".

REBATE AUTHORIZATION AMENDMENT REGULATION

Act.

1 The Rebate Authorization Regulation (AR 10/2009) is

amended by this Regulation.

Section 2(

a) is amended by striking out "March 31, 2021"

and substituting "March 31, 2023".

Section 5 is amended by striking out "March 31, 2022" and

substituting "March 31, 2024".
